Pads, banks & projects
Per-pad playback modes, bank-wide edits, mute groups and pad parameters.
Playback modes
GATE on: the sample plays only while the pad is held. Off: each press starts playback. SHIFT + GATE switches GATE for every sample in the bank.

One-shot playback: hold VALUE and press GATE (GATE blinks slowly); the sample always plays to the end and turns LOOP off.

LOOP makes a sample repeat; each pad press starts or stops it. SHIFT + LOOP plays it forwards then backwards (ping-pong).

Loops usually want LOOP and BPM SYNC on; chops usually want GATE off.

Editing several pads at once
Holding REMAIN while changing a parameter on the pitch/speed or envelope screen changes it for every sample in the bank; holding COPY changes it for the samples in the same mute group.

SHIFT + pad 8 opens MUTE GROUP: pick a group (A–J) with VALUE and press pads to add them; only the last-played pad in a group sounds, which stops slices of one loop overlapping.
